As Speech Language Pathologists,
we found it increasingly difficult to locate appropriate
materials for our young clients; particularly those
experiencing delays in early speech sound production.
In addition, we were frequently asked by parents
for materials they could use at home to support their
child's acquisition and use of early consonants and
words. Unable to find a resource that contained all
the elements we were looking for; we set out to create
what these special children and parents were so desperately
in need of… First Sound Series .
